Semlor Buns Workshop
Semlor or “Fat Tuesday Buns” are always eaten in Sweden on Shrove Tuesday – or indeed any time from the beginning of January through to the end of Lent – well you need to stock up on carbs in the cold winter months! They are a wonderful soft cardamom spiced bun filled with almond paste and whipped cream. Learn how to make these buns in our special seasonal class, running this February only.
Our mini-bakery unit in Chalgrove is also the perfect setting for small baking workshops for up to six people. Classes are informative, hands-on and lots of fun – we provide all the ingredients and will take you through the recipes step-by-step sharing tips along the way. You will be thoroughly amazed at your results and will leave with some warm buns or an impressive cake to share with friends (and a guaranteed ear-ear to smile). We will add in a few other surprise recipes to the classes making sure we keep you busy!
Classes are 2.5 – 3 hrs in duration and include light refreshments.
Classes are held at Unit 12, Greenacres Courtyard, Monument Business Park, OX44 7RW. On-site parking available.
£50 per person, bring a friend to share your table for a 10% discount.
